b. Age Limit:

- Minimum Age: 20 years

- Maximum Age: 30 years

- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:

  - SC/ST: 5 years

  - OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

  - Persons with Disabilities: 10 years

  - Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

c. Nationality:

- Candidates must be Indian citizens. 

- Citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, are also eligible.

4. Application Process

The application process for IBPS PO 2024 is entirely online. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

a. Preliminary Examination:

b. Mains Examination:

- Total Marks: 200

- Duration: 3 hours

- There is also a Descriptive Test of 25 marks (30 minutes) that includes letter writing and essay.

c. Interview:

- Candidates who qualify for the Mains exam are called for a personal interview.

- Total Marks: 100

- The final merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of the Mains exam and the interview.

d. Provisional Allotment:

- Based on the final merit list, candidates are provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and document verification.
