Google said in a blog post that numerous new features would be introduced to celebrate the 15th anniversary of street view. With the enhancements to Street View, Android and iOS users will be able to view historical street view photographs from many years ago. When viewing street view imagery of a location, users will be able to touch anywhere on the picture to get location details.

Last year, Google discontinued support for several of its applications, including Google Maps, for outdated handsets. If you wish to use Google Maps on an older phone, it must have at least Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

After accessing Google Map, the first step is to navigate to the place where Street View has been enabled.
