 Apple WWDC 2022 - What to expect from the event: California-based tech giant Apple is going to hold its big event Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022 in the first week of June. At this annual event, the company can unveil the latest versions of its softwares iOS 16, WatchOS, iPadOS 16 and MacOS 13. The next big version of iOS for iPhone users can bring many big updates. Let's know what new features can be found in iOS 16.

You can get always on display (AoD)

Mark Garaman of Bloomberg has said in his report that apple with iOS 16 can give the long-standing always on display (AoD) feature in Android devices. With this feature, information such as time or notifications without turning on the display is visible on the screen. In phones of Samsung, OnePlus and other companies, this feature gives the option to install animated widgets and other elements on the lock screen.

Apple's largest office 'Apple Park' is spread over 175 acres and is as size as much as 40 football fields. The spaceship-sized office can accommodate about 12,000 employees.

New features may have an impact on battery life

Due to the screen being on for 24 hours, the battery life can be somewhat reduced with the always-on display feature. Apple may offer a variable refresh rate of 120Hz in its iPhone 14 Pro models this year and the new versions will set their own refresh rates between 1Hz and 120Hz. In this way, the new change will save battery and the benefit of features like always on display can be given to users.

You will get support for new types of wallpapers

It has been revealed that the new iOS version can get the support of a special kind of wallpaper, which will have capabilities like widgets. That is, by tapping on its different parts, select tasks can be completed. Garaman has said that the Messages app may also get "functions like other social networks" this year, including audio messages. Many new features can also be added to the health app.

Expecting big improvements in wearables

Even in the WatchOS 9, the company can give a lot of new features for wearables, making it easier for users to perform day-to-day operations and improve the navigation experience. Users in the Apple Watch can also get a low-battery mode, which will not disable its smart features, but despite this, it will cost less battery. At the same time, with iPadOS 16, the company can improve the way windows open and the multi-tasting experience.

The event starts on June 6

Apple's WWDC 2022 event is starting from June 6 and will run till June 10. It is expected that the company may also introduce many hardware at the event this year.

When will all users get new features?

After the WWDC 2022 event is over, apple's beta rollout of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, tvOS 16 and macOS 13 will start for developers. At the same time, public beta updates for testing the rest of the users will be available about two months after the event. Talking about the stable update, their rollout can be started after the iPhone 14 series launch event in September, 2022.
