 According to projections made by Global Data (GlobalData), an industry leader in data collection and analysis, sales of electric vehicles (EVs) would make up more than 33 percent of the total number of automobiles on the planet by the year 2031. Electric car legislation and the efforts of automobile manufacturers estimate that sales of electric vehicles will increase by a factor of ten in both China and Europe over the course of the next 15 years. Over the course of the last several years, consumers in these nations have bought an unprecedented quantity of electric vehicles.

According to the findings of the study, a total of eighteen nations have committed to achieving their goal of totally halting the retail sale of gasoline and diesel-fueled private automobiles by the year 2030. Additionally, China intends to sell electric automobiles accounting for 25 percent of the total sales of vehicles in the year 2025. Both India and the United States have set the goal of selling 30 percent and 50 percent of the world's total automobile sales by the year 2030, respectively.

Oil firms are creating electric components

According to the findings of the study, a significant number of oil and gas businesses are expanding their operations in the energy sector as a direct result of the rising demand for electric cars.
