EVs have been launched by a slew of Indian automakers, ranging from Tata to Mercedes-Benz. Tata Tigor

The Tata Tigor is an excellent car for those on a tight budget who prefer electric vehicles. The battery pack in this electric sedan is 26 kWh, and the electric motor has a power output of 74.7 PS. This car claims to have a range of 306 kilometers on a single charge. The Tata Tigor's base XE variant costs Rs 12.49 lakh, while the top XZ+DT variant costs Rs 13.64 lakh.

Nexon 

The Nexon EV is available in two versions from Tata. The Nexon EV, which will be available in 2020, has an X-showroom price range of Rs 14.79 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh. On a single charge, it has a range of 312 kilometers. The Nexon EV Max, which was launched in April this year and has an ex-showroom price range of Rs 17.74 lakh to Rs 19.24 lakh, is the other option. It has a 40.4 kwh battery that provides 437 fortressmeters of range on a single charge.

MG Motors

The ZS EV, MG Motors' first electric vehicle in India, was well received by customers. This electric SUV, which was first introduced in 2020, was updated in March of this year. The new 2022 MG ZS EV has a 50.3 kWh battery pack that can provide a range of 461 kilometers when fully charged. This car costs between Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 25.88 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai

Hyundai's first electric vehicle in India was the Hyundai Kona, which debuted in 2019. It features a 39.2 kWh battery that can produce 136 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. It has a range of 452 kilometers, according to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). A standard AC power outlet takes 6 to 7 hours to charge. It costs between Rs 23.84 lakh and Rs 24.02 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mini Cooper

In February of this year, British carmaker Mini Cooper released its first electric vehicle in India, the 'Mini Cooper SE.' The company has a 32.6 kWh battery pack and an 184 PS electric motor.This vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.3 seconds. This automobile has a range of 270 kilometers on a single charge. It costs Rs 48.70 lakh ex-showroom.

KIA

In India, KIA has just released the EV6 in the electric car sector. It is available in two versions in India, according to the firm. The rear wheel drive (RWD) model has a range of 528 kilometers on a single charge, while the all wheel drive (AWD) variant has a range of 425 kilometers. The RWD version of the EV6 costs Rs 59.95 lakh, while the AWD version costs Rs 64.95 lakh ex-showroom.

BMW 

On May 26, BMW introduced its all-electric sedan, the BMW i4, to the Indian market. The automobile is available in two models in India: M40 E-Drive and M50 X-Drive. The M40 model comes with an 83.9kWh battery pack that produces 335bhp and 430Nm of torque. The BMW i4 electric vehicle has been introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 69.90 lakh ex-showroom.

Mercedes-Benz EQC

Mercedes-Benz EQC is the company's first premium electric SUV in India, and it is available from 2020. It includes an 85-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack that can produce 408 horsepower and 765 Nm of torque. It charges in roughly 10 hours using a standard wall-box charger and has a range of 414 kilometers on a single charge. In the Indian market, it costs Rs 99.30 lakh.

Audi E-Tron models

The Audi e-Tron comes in three different models in India: the E-Tron 50, the E-Tron 55, and the E-Tron Sportback. The Audi E-Tron 50 is equipped with two electric motors and a 71.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that provides a range of up to 379 kilometers when completely charged. The 95 kWh battery in both the E-Tron 55 and Sportback models provides a driving range of 484 kilometers. The prices vary from Rs 1.01 crore to Rs 1.19 crore ex-showroom.

Jaguar 

Jaguar has released its electric SUV I-Pace in India in three variants: S, SE, and HSE. The 90 kWh battery is capable of delivering 389bhp and 696Nm of maximum torque to the automobile. It can go 470 kilometers on a single battery. When it comes to pricing, the basic model costs Rs 1.06 crore, while the top model costs Rs 1.12 crore.
