P-8 Voyager is an electric boat taxi that was recently unveiled by Candela, a company based in Stockholm that manufactures hydrofoil electric boats. Candela's P-8 Voyager is capable of flying above the water's surface. The hydrofoil propulsion mechanism that is used by Candela's other electric boats is also included into this flying boat's design. These boats have been outfitted with batteries with a capacity of 50 kW that are designed to operate when immersed in water.
The Candela P-8 Voyager is designed to be able to take long walks on the water while leaving no trace of carbon pollution and not contributing to any noise pollution. As a result, the lives of marine organisms will not be negatively impacted in any way. Candela's current CEO and company founder, Gustav Hasselskog, stated that the P-8 Voyager is intended to transport you and your passengers to the locations on the water that are most important to you. That too without causing any harm to the surrounding ecosystem.

There is room for a total of six passengers inside of the P-8 Voyager. The business asserts that it is able to function properly in all four seasons. It also has the option of air conditioning and heating inside the cabin so that passengers can feel comfortable throughout the entire journey regardless of the poor weather conditions that may be occurring outside. This is done to give passengers the full enjoyment of the walk. At a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour, this electric flying boat is capable of traveling up to 40 nautical miles, which is approximately 74 kilometers.

During travels across the ocean, the rate of a ship's speed is referred to as its "knot" speed. One nautical mile per hour is equal to one knot. 1 knot = 1.15 mph = 1.85 kilometers per hour.
The manufacturer claims that their product has a range that is about four times greater than that of comparable electric boats already on the market. The P-8 Voyager can round San Francisco Bay on a single full charge, making it ideal for exploration missions. It has been said that the C-POD engine that is installed in this boat is the world's most powerful and fuel-efficient boat motor that has ever been produced. Over-the-air (OTA) updates will continue to be sent by the corporation in order to patch any newly discovered vulnerabilities.
