China Has Successfully Demonstrated the Transmission of Solar Energy From Orbit to Earth

A new study is out there that is connected to the energy that is involved with space and the sun, and Chinese academics have been working on this topic for a significant amount of time. The ability to wirelessly transport solar energy from outer space to earth is one of the goals of the technology that scientists are creating. The full-system model that is linked with this technology has also been successfully tested by the group of scientists working on it. The need for energy on earth may be met by modern technologies.

Sunlight that emits microwaves in certain patterns

The Model Power Station of Jidian University, which is situated in the Shaanxi area of China, was used to collect sunlight from above the surface of the earth and convert it into microwave beams. Following this, the beams in return were sent from above to a receiver station that had been constructed on the ground below, where they could be turned back into electricity. The researchers who worked on this project hope that in the not-too-distant future, this technology will be able to transmit solar power from satellites to the ground below.

Expert panel verifies satisfactory testing

Recently, the research team affiliated with the model carried out similar tests in the presence of a group of impartial professionals from the outside. According to the press release that was issued on June 5, this expert panel was able to validate that the model was effective in its operation throughout the testing phase. Solar power may now be used even in locations where direct sunshine is unavailable thanks to a recently developed piece of technology that will eliminate the most significant obstacle facing the renewable energy movement.

There are other nations that are also focusing on developing this technology.

There are researchers on this technology connected to solar energy working on it in China, however China is not the only nation doing so. After being awarded a grant of one hundred million dollars by the California Institute of Technology in 2013, a space solar program was finally able to get off the ground. Gedian said that academics from India, Russia, the United Kingdom, and France are also investigating the possibilities, but that Japan is now in the lead when it comes to this sector.

The whole of the model was tested, and it passed for the first time.

A few of the solar-from-space technology's individual components have been put through their paces in the laboratory previously, but the Chinese researchers are the first to successfully put the whole full-system model through its paces. During the test, this model was able to transmit solar energy to the surface of the Earth from a height of 55 meters.

China has developed its own own man-made sun.

China already has an artificial sun, which makes it possible for the country's energy requirements to be satisfied with its support. This artificial sun, also known as an experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST), achieved temperatures at the beginning of the year that were five times greater than those produced by the actual sun. It created temperatures of around 70 million degrees over a period of 1,056 seconds, and in the event that this occurs, it will be able to provide light and heat to significant portions of China in the same manner as the actual sun.

Artificial Moon

The Chinese scientific community is likewise working on the development of an artificial moon. Understanding the solar system and preparing an atmosphere for the earth's satellite will both be made possible for researchers by the creation of an artificial moon that they will use in their experiments. On this moon, which has a diameter of around two feet or sixty centimeters, there will no longer be any gravity at all. The artificial moon, which is currently being constructed in the Zuzhou town of the Jiangsu area, is scheduled to make its debut sometime this year.

Women Safety: A Global and Indian Perspective

Women Safety: A Global and Indian Perspective Women safety is a critical issue that resonates deeply across the globe, with the need for enhanced protection against crimes such as rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and trafficking. The concern for women's safety is not confined to one region but is a universal issue that demands attention, especially in countries like India, where incidents of violence against women continue to dominate headlines. Understanding the Global Scenario Globally, violence against women is a pervasive and deeply entrenched issue. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 3 women worldwide has experienced either physical or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. The problem transcends cultural, economic, and geographic boundaries, affecting women of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Rape and Sexual Violence: In many countries, rape is among the most underreported crimes. Societal stigma, fea...

The Trolling Culture: A Digital Plague on Society

The advent of social media has brought revolutionary changes in communication, enabling people to connect and share ideas globally. However, it has also given rise to a darker trend: trolling. Trolling culture, the act of provoking, insulting, or harassing individuals online for amusement or malice, has become a pervasive issue. Coupled with hate speech, it contributes to a toxic online environment with widespread societal repercussions. Understanding Trolling Culture Trolling often starts as a joke or an attempt to incite reactions. Trolls thrive on anonymity, using it to spread insults, misinformation, and hate. Over time, trolling has evolved from harmless pranks to deeply problematic behaviors, including targeted harassment and cyberbullying. High-profile figures, activists, and even ordinary users have found themselves at the receiving end of trolling campaigns, often resulting in severe mental health impacts.
